Xiaowei Ye is a principal in Bingham Consulting and has more than 15 years of experience working in Asia representing multinationals when they enter into the Chinese market as well as large Chinese companies with respect to their overseas investment, project financing, and initial public listing and offerings. Xiaowei also led a small dedicated team focusing on government regulatory and compliance matters. Having grown up in China, Xiaowei is fluent in both Mandarin and English. Her application to be approved as a representative of Bingham McCutchen’s Beijing office is in process.

- Represented major Chinese companies such as Guangdong Enterprises, China Mobile, PetroChina, Bank of China (Hong Kong), CMPC Holdings Limited in multibillion-dollar restructuring and capital markets transactions
- Represented UBS, JPMorgan and China International Capital Corporation (CICC) as underwriters in the IPO of China Merchants Bank
- Represented National Council of Social Security Fund and China Development Bank among others in their overseas investment and project financing
- Represented multinational companies such as EDS and GE Capital in their investment and M&A transactions in China
- Represented Mattel and IBM with respect to their government regulatory and compliance matters in China

COMMUNITY SERVICE
- Co-founder of the Dandelion Project, along with Sarah Randt, wife of former US Ambassador to China, Clark T. Randt. The Project has two initiatives: Dandelion School, the first nonprofit middle school in Beijing that educates migrant workers’ children, and Lhasa Maternal Child Healthcare Association, a project that provides maternity and childbirth training programs to healthcare personnel and doctors from remote villages in Nyimo and Dhamshung Counties.
