Sarah G. Reznek is of counsel at Bingham McCutchen and a senior consultant at Bingham Consulting Group. She has served as consumer protection project director and chief counsel at the National Association of Attorneys General and a senior trial attorney at the Federal Trade Commission. She brings extensive experience with regard to state and federal actions and their legal, regulatory and legislative impact on the business community.

During her nine years at the National Association of Attorneys General, Sarah interacted with all 50 state attorney general offices on a myriad of issues, including consumer protection, enforcement issues, legislative matters, training and public education. She also worked with the attorneys general in areas such as privacy, telecommunications, financial services and pharmaceutical pricing. In 2002, she was awarded the NAAG Staff Award in recognition of outstanding contributions to the attorneys general and to the association.

In her eight-year tenure as a senior trial attorney at the Federal Trade Commission, Sarah supervised and conducted all phases of investigation and litigation of unfair and deceptive marketing practices cases before federal district courts throughout the country. In 1992, she was named as “One of the Best FTC Lawyers,” following a survey by FTC Watch.

Before joining the Federal Trade Commission, Sarah served as a prosecutor with the District of Columbia. Prior to that, she served as a clerk to the Honorable Julia Cooper Mack of the District of Columbia Court of Appeals.
